The American Heart Assocation, Chacko's Family Bowling Center of Wilkes-Barre, and CBXMAN Motorcycle of Edwardsville, team up to prevent heart disease.

This Sunday, September 23rd, Chacko's Family Bowling Center and CBXMAN Motorcycles will join forces for an exciting Bike Rally, Motorcycle Stunt Show, Bike Show and other events for the benefit of the American Heart Association.

This is the second year Chacko's has worked with the Wilkes-Barre Chapter of the American Heart Association (AHA) to raise funds for the various "healthy living" programs the AHA conducts year round.

Recently, members of the Wilkes-Barre Chapter of the AHA, Chacko's Family Bowling Center and CBX MAN MOTORCYCLES met to discuss the event. Lori Chase of the Wilkes-Barre Chapter stated, "Funding for non-profit groups is harder than ever in today's economy. Teaming up with Chacko's Family Bowling Center and CBX MAN MOTORCYCLES allows the Wilkes-Barre Chapter of the AHA to continue working in the community with a mission to help build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."

This event will take place at Chacko's Family Bowling Center, 195 N. Wilkes-Barre Blvd beginning at 10:30 AM with riders registration. Dan Chacko, co-owner of Chacko's Family Bowling Center said, "The opportunity to give back to the community that supports our business is something we always try to do. The opportunity to join the AHA for the second year, and partnering with CBX MAN MOTORCYCLES this year, we feel very confident that we'll raise a lot more money for the cause." Additionally, Dan added, "We hope to continue sponsoring this event for many years because heart disease is a sickness that affects my family and many of our loyal customers, and we feel it's a good way to give back to them."

Dennis McCartney, Owner of CBX MAN MOTORCYCLES added, "We are proud to be associated with and partnering with the AHA and Chacko's. Many of the motorcycle companies we work with, urge bike shop owners to get involved with their local communities. CBX MAN has been involved with many charity events over a long period of time. This Bike Rally is a great opportunity for all of our customers and all motorcycle riders to come out and enjoy a great day of camaraderie that benefits the entire community."

The Bike Rally takes place, Sunday, September 23rd starting at 10:30 AM with registration. A donation of $25 dollars includes: a t-shirt, breakfast, lunch, admittance to the Close Encounters Motorcycles Stunt Show, giveaways, and raffles. The ride will be 70 miles, leaving Chacko's parking lot at 12:00 noon and returning at approx. 1:30 PM for the festivities. Kartune will be performing after the ride. The entire community is welcome to attend this last Motorcycle event for the 2007 Summer Riding Season. If you don't ride, there will be various activities to enjoy.
