United Motors Vehicle Warranty
This warrany is subject to change without notice.
We are confident about the products we build and this is why UM offers you the best Factory Limited Warranty in the industry. When you purchase a new UM product you enjoy the peace of mind of having a parts and labor, 3 year limted warranty protecting your motorcycle, scooter or ATV.
- Street Legal products come standard with an 18 month, Fender to Fender warranty.
- Off Road products come standard with a 12 month Fender to Fender warranty.
- All products are protected by a 3 year limited powertrain warranty.
UNITED MOTORS warrants all parts of the vehicle except those listed under the caption "What is not covered. This warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Vehicle Owners Warranty Responsibilities:
- Vehicle owner must properly use, maintain and care for the vehicle as outlined in the UNITED MOTORS owners manual.
- Owner must service and maintain the vehicle according to the Service Schedule and Record Sheet in order to maintain the warranty active. *
- UNITED MOTORS may ask for such Service Schedule and Record Sheet when processing a warranty claim.
- Warranty repairs must be performed ONLY by authorized UNITED MOTORS dealers.
- Periodic services and inspections can be performed by authorized UNITED MOTORS dealers or any reputable motorcycle repair shop.
*Periodic service and inspections are considered regular maintenance and are not reimbursable.
Authorized UNITED MOTORS Dealers Warranty responsibilities:
- Warranty repairs will be made at no charge for parts and labor.
- Any replacement part(s) will be replaced with new or authorized remanufactured part(s).
- The decision to repair or replace said part(s) is solely at the discretion of UNITED MOTORS.
- Warranty terms and rights may vary from state to state.
- Any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited to the duration of this written warranty (see reverse for details).
- Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights.
- You may also have other rights, which may vary, from state to state.
How long is the Warranty?
The warranty is effective as listed below or 15,625 miles (25,000 kilometers), whichever comes first from the date of purchase by the original owner.

* What is not covered? (Warranty Exclusions)
- Service and wear items to include, but not limited to, the replacement of brake pads, linings and rotor assemblies, clutch plates, steering head bearings, wheel and swing arm bearings, fuses, control cables, drive chain or poly V-belt replacement, exhaust pipes and mufflers for discoloration of finish, spark plugs, light bulbs, tubes and tires, piston and piston rings (on 2 strokes only), and rubber items such as hand grips, foot rests, foot shift and control cable shields, are not covered;
- Batteries that exhibit signs of neglect and/or overcharging are not covered; (Batteries will be warranted for defects in materials or workmanship for 3 months, unlimited miles);
- Any damage resulting from negligence of the periodic maintenance is not covered;
- Any damage which results from repair, adjustment or maintenance operations by any methods other than those specified by UNITED MOTORS is not covered;
- Any damage which results from hard driving due to a race, rally, or operation in a location not generally used for driving is not covered;
- Any damage which results from use beyond the limitations specified in the UNITED MOTORS Owners Manual such as overloading the vehicle, or any damage from the use under abnormal conditions is not covered;
- Any damage caused when the product is used as a rental vehicle or commercial use is not covered;
- Any damage which results from use of non-genuine parts, accessories, fuel, lubricants and fluids not specified by UNITED MOTORS is not covered;
- Any damage which results from modifications made to the product is not covered;
- Anti-theft alarm systems are not warranted after the first 1,000 kilometers (625 miles) or three months, whichever comes first;
- Any damage that results from the passage of time (natural fading of painted surfaces, plated surfaces, sheet peeling and other deterioration) is not covered;
- Any damage due to improper storage or transportation is not covered;
- Any damage which results from repair, service and/or inspections performed by any person or company other than a UNITED MOTORS Dealer or any reputable motorcycle repair shop is not covered;
- Any damage which results from unavoidable natural disasters, fire, collision, theft, and second damages based on any of these occurrences is not covered;
- Incidental or additional expenses incurred for making any claims such as those for towing, communications, hotels and meals, as well as any losses during maintenance period, such as loss of time, loss of business and rental car expenses are not covered;
- Scheduled periodic services and inspection fees are not covered;
- Warranty on engine (Phase 2 of this warranty) will not apply for second and/or subsequent owners.
This warranty shall be null and void if:
- The vehicle is used in any competitive events.
- The vehicle has been declared a total loss or sold for salvage purposes.
- If the Vehicle Identification Number has been altered or cannot be read.
- Any performance accessory or components, not supplied or approved by UNITED MOTORS, attached to the vehicle that alters the original engineering and/or operating specifications which results, or may result, in damage to other original components.
