Motorcycle Helmets & Motorcycle Safety Gear Is A Must Wear

I was headed back to the CBXMAN showroom yesterday because there was a ride for charity starting from our place. I was on the way back from the CBX Rally in Sonestown.
For some reason I went off the road in an area I ride every single day to and from work and crashed my CBX. I have no recollection of what happened.
It's a slight corner and my speed was in the 35 mph range, no other traffic, no gravel in the road and no animals to avoid. No reason for this to happen except that I have no recollection of going off the road. The bike hit a deep old stone drain and I was ejected and I slid about 30 ft.
The gear saved me from serious injury although I am in a great deal of pain today the CBXMAN Cordura Jacket and gloves did their job as did the helmet. Anyone who thinks they can ride without a helmet needs to take a look at these pics.
We just got the CBX down here and had chance to take a look. Damage confined to the headlight, instruments, fuel tank and that's about it. Both the CBX and I were pretty lucky!
Sore but ok here in PA ...............Planning on working a full week just not moving as fast as I usually do! All appointments for this week are on!
While I was being helped by the EMS team they had to cut my CBXMAN Cordura Jacket off of me so we don't have any picturess of the jacket and how it performed. There were no tears of the material prior to removal. The only damage to the gloves were a few weeds and dirt that was easily cleaned off. I can only assure you that if I was not wearing this gear I would not be announcing this on the website.
ACCIDENTS CAN AND WILL HAPPEN TO ANYBODY! Even if you've been riding for over 20 years! Please take the time to protect what is most important. The cost of repairs to the motorcycle will never add up the value of your life!

A day or so after our good friend Mickey Cohen was injured far from home in a motorcycle accident another friend of ours asked if we had ever heard of MedjetAssist.
