Assembled? How You're Being Misled

We are continually shocked at some of the business practices by many vehicle dealers found on the web and on Ebay. The price is right. However, keep in mind that you get what you pay for.
We've been building and riding motorcycles for over 20 years. The stories we could tell about the experiences we have had with so-called certified dealers are endless. If you were to talk to our customers about our services and the lengths we go in order to satisfy EVERY request you would be hard pressed to find an unhappy customer.
Our focus is our customers. We want our riders to be safe, aware and most importantly not ripped off! The sincerity of this announcement cannot be clearly conveyed via the web. The focus of this announcement is to protect and inform you!
Two weeks ago we received a phone call regarding the purchase of a brand new QLINK Legacy 250. We were not the seller of this vehicle. The caller informed us that they had purchased this automatic cruiser motorcycle via the web (Site Name witheld) with an additional $199.95 Assembly Fee applied.
This automatic cruiser motorcycle is impressive to say the least, we sell them. Here's how the "Assembled" Legacy 250 arrived:

Here is what you get with the $199.95 Assembly Fee from one of our competitors (Competitor Name witheld):
This bike is shipped in the original manufacturer's shipping box by truck. Front wheel and handle bars need to be installed for the scooter to be road ready. This should take about an hour to complete. If you'd like us to completely assemble and test the scooter for you, please add $199.95 to the final price*. When we assemble our scooters, we put gas in the gas tanks and start the units up to make sure that everything is connected properly and there are no gas or oil leaks. We also inflate the tires, adjust the brakes, fill up the battery with acid and charge it up. When you receive an assembled scooter from us, you can turn the key and drive it right away. If you're not mechanically inclined, our assembly service is well worth the price.
Are you seeing what we're seeing? Rear tire doesn't look inflated.
While we assembled the bike for the customer (at an extremely discounted rate because we operate with integrity) here is what we found:
- The bike was not assembled.
- The front wheel was not installed. This is not something the average person would be able to do.
- The Battery had been filled and inserted in the bike but it was not charged.
- The tires had 15 lbs of air in them instead of the 36 lbs front and 40lbs rear the manual calls for.
- We had to fill the gas tank and then flush the float bowl on the carb because the bike would not start.
- Idle wasa set too high and needed to be adjusted.
- Center stand had to be installed which would be extremely difficult for the average person to do because it uses a very strong spring.
- Detailing has to be done. Factory protective materials have to be removed, the bike needs to have grease and oil cleaned from various areas and then the whole bike needs to be waxed and polished.
