This is the Famous Echo Quick Release Buckle. We know of no other quick release buckle as good as this. The Exclusive Patented design locks metal against metal for high strength and durability.

Installation Instructions:*
1. Feed Horseshoe through the loop as shown in illustration A, that holds the "D" rings. (The "D" rings may be left in place or removed)
2. Next, Insert Horseshoe into the body, as shown in illustration B. Push completely into Body until it locks into place. You'll hear a loud click.
3. Now insert the Arrow into the Body, as shown in illustration C, again pushing until it locks into place. You'll hear another loud click"
4. With Arrow inserted into the nylon Body, move Slide Bar away from the Body to the top of the Arrow. Thread the Chin Strap through the opening in the Arrow. Now move the Slide Bar towards the strap, then loop the strap over the Slide Bar and into the rear slot, as shown in illustration D.
5. With helmet on and Arrow securely in the Body, adjust strap to fit snug and comfortably.
6. To open, press both Body Arms in the Body and pull Arrow from the Body.
7. To close, insert Arrow into the Body adn push until you hear a loud click.

*Proper installation is an important element to safety. Since the chin strap is the primary means of retaining the helmet on the head, failure to properly install and use the Quick Release buckle could result in the helmet coming off the head, resulting in serious injury or death.
