Scorpio SR-i600 Motorcycle Alarm System:
The all new SR-i600 is an ultra-compact 2 way FM paging security system designed specifically for the motorcycle industry.
By utilizing High Frequency FM technology, the SR-i600 transceiver is capable of sending and receiving commands from up to 1/2 Mile away from the motorcycle.
For its sensing mechanism, the SR-i600 utilizes a built in accelerometer that detects both impact and changes of angles with a high degree of accuracy. It allows the module to be placed in any position or mounting angle and requires no adjustments.
The SR-i600 control module also offers a built in programmable multi tone siren and to ensure durability the module is manufactured to meet OEM specs.
For simple installation the SR-i600 offers optional factory style connector kits that simply plug into the motorcycle's factory wiring harness creating a non-destructive installation.

- 3-Stage Perimeter Sensor - Sometimes your motorcycle isn't the only thing that needs protection! This perimeter sensor provides a remote activated microwave sensor that detects motion in mass around the motorcycle, protecting your saddlebags, luggage and other external accessories.(Compatible with all scorpio alarms
- Battery Back-Up - Optional battery back-up system that allows the pager and siren to operate even if wires are cut or circumvented. This compact unit is installed internaly in the main control module so it takes no extra space on your bike. Compatible with the 2006, 2007 model SR-i500 and with the SR-i600 security systems only. (BAT-5 is included with the SR-900 by default)

All the SR-i500 features are packed into one compact unit about the size of a small cell phone (3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 3/4). The miniature control model also offers a built-in 125dB multi-tone siren with advanced programming features such as selectable siren tones as well as trigger duration. To insure durability, the SR-i500 is manufactured to meet OEM specs and utilizes waterproof connectors and a triple layer circuit board design that contains no mechanical or moving parts. A patented polyurethane encapsulating process ensures that the module is hermetically sealed and is guaranteed to withstand severe vibrations, extreme heat, and high water pressure. Scorpio's quality control standards even require a depth submersion test of 10'.

The Analog Devices ADXL202 offers unmatched reliability
For its sensing mechanism, the SR-i500/SR-i300 utilizes a built in Analog Devices ADXL202 accelerometer. Derived from the air bag industry, this dual-axis digital sensing microprocessor measures both dynamic acceleration (e.g., vibration) and static acceleration (e.g., gravity) with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. It integrates microscopic silicon parts and sophisticated signal conditioning to produce a complete two-axis accelerometer on a single IC. This onboard sensor allows the control module to be placed in any position or mounting angle and requires no adjustments.

The single compact module and the three wire do-it-yourself installation kit makes the SR-i500's installation a snap on any motorcycle. The easy to follow step-by-step installation instructions describe the exact location and color code for each wire. No testing tools are required! With the supplied plug-in T-Tap connectors the installation of the SR-i500 does not require any cutting or soldering. Also available are factory style connector kits that simply plug into the motorcycles wiring harness creating a non-destructive installation. OEM installation kits are available for late model Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley Davidson, American Iron Horse, Big Dog and Indian motorcycles.
